Kiss Me in the Rain?

Yesterday was full of rain and wind and I LOVED it! It was so much fun, and it doesn't happen a lot here...

It started Saturday, and The Gang got together and we all went to Jamie's house and played outside for a while. It was a day full of screaming, the guys chasing the girls around, group hugs, water fights, and all walking to a party where we arrived wet and cold. It was great fun and I hadn't played in the rain like that since I was just a lil' girl!

But then yesterday, there was so. much. rain. It flooded the parks, and of course all my friends went 'swimming' at the park. They be crazy.  It flooded the sidewalks, I walked along the sidewalk getting into above my knee water. This may be normal in other states, but here, it never happens. Which is why we all get ridiculously excited about it:)

I don't know if you can tell in the picture below, but it is raining hard and heavy. My lil' bros kept coming under the porch because the raindrops hurt so much. I love it. I love it. That's all that really happened yesterday. I read a book and watched some Olympics. Those gymnastics are crazy. I don't know how they do....Crazy prople...

Story Number Two: Summer Romance

I promised you guys this post, and here it is.

Now lets begin:

It was a cold rainy day in Utah and my cousins Ethan and Tyler decided it would be great to go to Seven Peaks! (Now, if you've never been to Seven Peaks, I'm sorry. I hope you get there someday. It's the most amazing water park, and it has really fun slides and such. Tall scary ones you have to go down headfirst. It's nerve-wracking, but oh so fun!Anyways, I was going down slides with my cousin Tyler and lil' bro Rhys. And that's when I met him. He was standing there, being an adorable Lifeguard, and at first I just thought he was really cute. And then he started to talk. He had an accent. A British accent. It was so beautiful. I was sitting down the slide talking to him, when he said "You haver he most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen." And that's all it took. After that I was a goner. I slid down the slide in a haze, and as I got out, I saw Ethan and Asher. I ran up to them and about scared them, I was so happy. We went down that slide for half an hour almost, the boys there so I was not a freak, and making me less stalkerish. me flirting with him. It was so much fun. He laughed, I laughed, he said something funny, and I fell talking to him. I fell. I was mortified, but he just laughed and helped me up. Now, I was getting brave and I almost was going to ask for his number, or something, when the ride closed. And I never saw him again. It's a depressing story really. But it was worth it. And now all I can hope is I will someday meet another British lifeguard who will tell me my eyes are beautiful. That's all for now. Maybe another story later or something. I'm trying to get a running start on this blog, so I will probably post a lot:) Loves and Kisses Kat

Midnight Ramblings

Now, its not really midnight. But it's late. Annnnd I like how the title sounds. So we will just stick with it 'kay?

I'm really bored. I'm currently babysitting some very obnoxious boys. Just kidding. I love them. A little.  But seriously, I love all my lil' bros, they are some pretty cute boys that I'm surrrre will be some heartbreakers when they grow up:)

There isn't really any point to this post. But this is my blog and I'm going to do what I please with it.

So, I think I will tell you some stories about my summer in Utah.

I was in Utah almost the entire month of July, because of the ridiculous amount of family that lives there. But I love all of them, (with a few exceptions;) (just kidding) so its not that horrible to be up there without any of my friends! Anyways, I digress. Back to storytelling.

Story Number One:
There is this little place in Provo, Utah, where they have the best cupcakes. The BEST cupcakes. Ever. It's called The Sweet Tooth Fairy. They practically melt in your mouth, and the frosting is to die for. But, they outdid their selves, and came up with the best idea ever. You stick a cupcake in a shake. And voila, you get a cupcake shake! Let me repeat myself. A Cupcake Shake. A Cupcake Shake. But when I went to go buy one, the ice cream had all melted. I don't know how, but it did. And so, I was going to be cupcake shakeless. And, yes, I just made up that word. So my good ole' momma decided she needed a large diet coke easy ice from the McDonald's across the street. And you know what my sweet momma did? She bought me a vanilla shake to put my cupcake in! And it was sooo good, and worth every single stinkin' calorie. So, to sum up my pointless story, thats how you make a ghetto cupcake shake. Enough said.

You should try it out sometime. It's well worth it, and although the idea might seem a little gross, just trust me and try it out. You'll thank me someday.  p.s. use good ice cream, not McD's when you make it. it will taste much better.

The 'rents are home! Hallelujah! So, sadly, I only got in one story today. But, after all, tomorrow is another day! (Name that book;)

P.S. Tune in tomorrow to hear about my summer romance;)

Making Bread?!

One of the highlights of my day yesterday was making bread. But I didn't make it by myself. Oh no. Two of my best friends, Mackay and Dan came over to help me. Now it was really funny watching them try to knead it and form it to put in the pans! They were so clueless and funny that I did what any normal girl would do! I videoed them! (is that a word? it should be if it isn't!) It was delicious bread, and they did a great job of doing it. Eventually they just got silly and started pretending to massage it, and it had to go in the pan jusst right, or they had to start all over...Boys these days! We had a blast, and then when my friend Jessica came over to join the party, we had a flour fight. My kitchen was covered in flour, and we probably wasted a little too much flour, but it was super fun and we had a blast!!! We ended the day with a good ole' movie and some homemade tacos made my momma. Yum! So, in case you guys wanted to see the video, and how funny we are, here ya go! And I included a picture of us after the fight:) I was covered in flour too, but you couldn't tell as much because of my white shirt...oh well:) The tall one is Mackay, and the shorter one is Dan, btw:)

So, in conclusions, having your guy friends over to make bread can actually turn out to be a blast! I don't know if they would ever do it again, but at least they were willing to try it out right? Anyways, thats all for now folks! Have a great weekend, and do something amazing for me kay? I'm at home babysitting little brothers!

Rambling...

I really liked writing my last blog Hello Kat, but I wanted to try something new and different.... I have one more week until my Junior year of high school! I can't believe I am now an upperclassman. It's crazy! I wanted to try posting everyday, and post pictures and videos, so its more of a virtual journal than a blog almost! So hopefully I will be able to do it! It will be an adventure and a goal for me:) Enjoy reading, and hopefully I won't bore anyone too much!

Lots of Love and Kisses,
